If there is an odor after opening the tumbler or during use:
Soak the product in boiling water with vinegar or citric acid or baking soda until it cools down. Rinse carefully and check if the smell is gone.
To remove stains in the tumbler:
Soaking and washing with citric acid is an effective way to clean the tumbler. There is no specific concentration of citric acid or vinegar, but as a guideline it should be about 1 teaspoon per 200 ml of hot water.
You can also clean the tumbler using baking soda or oxygen bleach using the steps below:
1. Fill a tumbler with hot or lukewarm water, and add about a heaping teaspoon of baking soda or oxygen bleach to dissolve. (Beware of spills when using oxygen bleach)
2. Leave the water as it is until it cools down.
3. When the hot water cools down, throw it away and rinse it well.
4. Clean the inside with dish soap, rinse well and dry.
Note: Do not close the lid when soaking and washing, as air pressure rises and is dangerous.
